AtWar's Supporters Team does a lot for AtWar, a lot of which the community doesn't know about. So, we've decided to give monthly updates on what the Supporters are doing.

AIois has made a Trello Board for the public to see. In this Trello board, a list(s) of things the Supporters' are doing-- everything from to-dos to public meetings. Alois will keep this board updated regularly so the community can stay informed on what the team is doing.

As you all know, ATN has been dead for quite some time and has been long-waiting a comeback. So, I'd like to officially reintroduce the AtWar Times Network back into the community with new leadership and a plan for AtWar. With this being said, I'd like to begin with a Q&A:

What Is The AtWar Times Network?

atWar Times Network, a news network of atWar working to entertain our community. The ATN was formed the 19th of November 2012, when also the first Clan war report was published. ATN is a combination of the old two news networks, namely; LDK's Afterwind Times (AT) and Mathdino's Afterwind News Network (ANN).

If you are reading this you are already on our new server!

I'm still working on some things behind the scenes, but the game is once again fully functional as of now.

I'm giving everyone 1 week free premium to make up for the downtime. If you already have a subscription it will be extended by 7 days. If you don't have premium right now, you'll get it for the next 7 days.

If you have lifetime I'm sorry, you get lifetime + 7 days... that's just how it goes.

EDIT: If you haven't got your premium yet JUST WAIT. We have over 800,000 user accounts, it takes time to add premium to each one.

EDIT #2: If you already have Lifetime, IT'S NOT EXPIRING. Everybody is getting 7 days free, but if you have lifetime just IGNORE the subscription that expires in 7 days. It doesn't effect you.

As I've said multiple times already on Discord, I'll give everyone a few days of free premium because of the outage, WHEN THIS IS ALL OVER.

I told you its not over yet, we're still in the process of migrating to a new host and it will take a few more days.

So please, read this and stop asking me. I swear to God the next person who asks me for free premium or tries to negotiate what you feel is an appropriate number of free days won't get jack. This is not the appropriate time to be making demands.

If you've been following our DISCORD then you already know what's going on, but if not here's a quick recap:

Starting August 11 - our host got ddosed. There was nothing we can do about it since it was the host being attacked directly. After 1.5 days with no updates from them and the ddos still going on, I decided to switch to a new host. I've been working on this project for the last day or two, and it's still in progress...

As of today I've still not received any update from our OLD host, but the connection has improved enough that I was able to get the game up again on the OLD server. That's where the game is running for the moment.

There will be random drops throughout this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on multiple maps.

Scheduled Drops will be Friday-Sunday (Aug. 9th-11th) between 7-10pm GMT +1 (1-3pm EST)

Each drop will have 50-400 PC or 1000-4000 SP dropped, so be sure to be online!

We won't just be playing quick games either, we will be starting a few casual games as well!

The Official AtWar Discord Server has received an update over the past three days; is gradually still going on as we develop things. However, this doesn't mean we won't make an announcement about what we have done; of which the following list is what we have done on the server:

✔ "Nuked" the entire server as well as create a backup. From here the server was rebuilt on a template that would fit AtWar better.

✔ Added 24/7 Customer Support for AtWar via Discord. This is subject to change in the future.

We understand that the Discord doesn't provide much activity for our player base. So we're reworking it to be for essentials; as well as a way to contact AtWar's administration, and with a few other surprises.

● Complete "Nuking" of the server. This means that the entire server will be erased. It will be rebuilt from scratch.

Hello! I'm Viserion and I am atWar's newest Supporter.
If you've already subscribed to the official atWar YouTube channel, you will begin to notice, starting from today, that I'll be welcoming and supporting the newest members of our community. You will see commentated content teaching you how to become a better player. A few examples of what you can learn are: how to turn block, walling effectively and how to predict an enemy expansion.

To entertain our new players (and indeed the old) animated historic educational videos, starting with the Rise & Fall of the Mughal Empire, will be released roughly once a month.
