Hey again.

Sometimes a few people propose changes to the game at the same time (everyone agrees round time limit should change but no one decides who will propose it - so everyone does).

I can open all of them. But if I accept more than one (maybe even just opening more than one) breaks the game options menu for me, for the duration of the match. If I try to check the -current- game options it shows me X's Proposal, and I can't see the victory conditions or current options.

Very annoying bug.

Ah that is annoying, it happened to me once too. I forgot to report it though. You can get around it for the time being by just refreshing the browser, when you reappear in game its fixed.

I think they should do it like it is in left 4 dead, have a little box come up asking the question, and you say yes or no, and a check mark is added to a bar of check marks equivelant to the number of players, and if there are more checks than x's, than the vote is passed, vice versa for no.

I feel they should have to vote and they should not get an option to exit out.. our the people that do not vote don't count

There are several comments/proposals for voting system reform in the comments to the news update. http://afterwind.com/events/news_comments.php?news_id=30

But Crazy Ivan is right. Anyone who plays even a few games quickly finds out that most of the time, votes are ineffective - not because people vote no but just because they ignore the screen. It should force a yes/no vote (like peace/alliance requests are now), or only require a majority of those who actually respond to the vote options (not a majority of all players in game) in order for the proposed change to go through, or something similar.

The idea of it having to be majority of people who actually voted would probably fix the problem.

ALSO dont start the clock till after all votes are in. in a 2min game it may take 30 seconds to decide what changes you want and what ones you dont want.

Yes thats the way it is now but it takes time to read the votes so your shure some one is not doing something your unshure of. so if there is a vote the turn ends the vote comes up and the next turn dont start till all votes are in or refused.

This is not a good idea. It would be too easy for one player to just walk away from their screen and hold all the other players hostage waiting for them to respond.

This happens a lot in country select screen anyways. I would hate to see it happen while voting....

What if the game admin is the one who's indecisive?

The next turn shouldn't start until all votes on game rules have been cast. Simple.

Again, no, because then one player can just not vote to be an idiot and ruin it for everyone else.

you get 20 second to answer, and that counts as a turn, if a player misses 3 turns he can be kicked by the admin.

Dont wana go around in circles hear ither but on a world map and with 20people games comming you should at leats put a 10 second delay in after the turn ends or something so slower people or ones who's win will be determined by deplomacy or adversly afacted by a game change can atleast keep on top of it somewhat.
