5 Types of AtWar Players

This is a list of players I find interesting, intriguing or that they can be subject to study, psychological or sociological. Depending on how much time the text will take I will add names or not.

1.The Quitters - They can quit AW definitely or for a few months. They can quit for 5 years then come back. A lot of AW population who sticked to the game is a quitter. Some call the intermittent quitting breaks or taking a break. There are a gazzilion reasons for taking a break or quitting for good. Most often include real life issues or some mishap in the game.

2. The Ragers - These guys will rage at anything. Server is down? Rage. You got rushed t4? Rage. Big wall failed? Rage. Bad rolls? Rage. And the mother of all insults. The TB. You got tb-ed and lost. RAGE! Somehow, we are all in here, we all rage from time to time. But there is a special category of people, who rage at anything and anyone, who complain all the time, against whom, apparently, the Universe 'works' ceaselessly.

3. The Naggers - These somehow are related to the above Ragers, but they are different. How? They will pr you in-game or by game mail (or I heared by other online means too) all the time or often. They will say random words or ask you random questions out of the blue. I have yet to discover their motives. One might be that they want your attention. Another one might be they are hardcore extroverts who feel the need to contact many people, or many times SOME people.

4. The Moais (like the Easter Island statues) - These guys are institutions in AW. They are long standing and they are here to stay. They have between 7-10k games or a lot of games with 2-3-4k SP. Usually they are professionals on one AW category, World Games, Scenarios or Competitive. In general, you don't mess with these guys. Spending so much time on AW made them machines. They can pull out ridiculous moves. They know even the most obscure plays. They are followed close behind by the r12s or r13s who invested too a huge amount of time into playing, but not like these guys. These guys made a totally special passion for AW and they continue to pursue it, on and off.

5. The Spectators - Spectating games is their speciality. They can talk or not. I heard of at least one case in which a guy was spectating all duels and cws and didn't say a word. He knew who to duel and who not, he was amassing information without letting anybody know about it. And he was picking his targets accordingly. A normal spectator in general talks, we have really talkative people, people who like to be in the center of attention. We also have people who seldomly talk. We have people who don't know English too well, and I pity them especially when they played aw so long and they still don't know it, so they stick to their native tongue. Spectating can be done 'professionally'. And it's kinda sweet to spectate and to talk about possible moves. I have found out that spectating tho' takes away time from playing. So will you spectate or play? Anyway, rare is a cw without spectators, or a duel, or a scenario!

lets be honest, nic is pretty washed and eagles is sometimes meh, maybe mecoy in usa too? tough game your have a 70% chance of nic dying turn 1 and blaming someone for leaking his expansion to the other team, or option 2, nic screaming at wd for hacking the servers

Tiki's are actually ornamental pendant's that you wear around your neck and sometimes statues depicting gods in my culture(i think Hawaiian natives have similar or the same). Easter island on the other hand have the Moai Statues which is what you were meaning I believe.

If someone is good in duels, that means nothing in team games.

For USA im not sure... Acq, WD, Eagles, Heat, Desu... maybe. Theres like 20 players which are close to each other by skill in team games.
