Everyone says leavers should be punish, but really people who stay in game should be rewarded. One idea came up with was this. Each turn the player is in game the sp he earns increases by 1% up to a maximum 1.5x sp at turn 50 This ofc wouldn't multiply your sp haul for the entire game, just the sp you earn on that turn with that particular multiplier. This ofc isn't too much of an incentive for high ranks but you generally find it is low ranks that leave because they are losing. A second incentive could be a simple change in how the game handles how do is dished out when you leave or surrender and it goes like this If a player surrenders he keeps 25% of his sp and the winner gets 75% of his so If a player Loses he keeps 75% of his sp and the winner gets 25% of his sp If a player leaves he still gets 0% but the victor gets 100% of sp. This will make people more likely to stay if they are losing, and it's not really much of a loss for the winner because he will gain the sp from beating him anyways.

I like your second idea where losing is 75% sp.

But how will the system know who forced someone to surrender?

To your first point, this can be done already but the guy who keeps leaving will get less sp. Implying people would actually try this, and not get caught eventually. To your final point, you are saying because my profile shows I'm a leaver, that I really am. Who gives a fuck about profile. I actually only leave my games when its pretty much lost, and never leave and ruin it for my teammates/allies. If we judge by profile's, we can conclude that I am better than you because I am in better shape with my last duel won, more duels won, more cw's won, last cw won, and last game won. Which we know isn't true. By your profile, I can judge that you are bad competitively with more duels and cw's won than lost. Which we also know isn't true. You can judge a lot of things by someone's profile, but none of it can be true. If a game fails turn 1 and I leave it, my abandon rate goes up, what I mean is there are too many factors to judge a person purely by their profile. Basically what I mean is saying a person can't state their opinion because of their profile, is complete and total bullshit.
