Title says it all this is a discussion topic to try to figure out what we can do to get new players interested in competitive aw and forming new cwing clans, maybe a prize for next season in place

There is only 1 group of people to blame for this. The group that wanted a different season, meaning replacing the old system with elo. Think about it, Cosa for example had what over 200 cws last season? Want to know why, because they knew that at the end of the day only a few good days will still get them first. Now this season you can still do this, however it seems no one thinks they can. Once these clans are getting top 3 they want to stop. Non of the top 3 coalitions broke 100 games. That is disheartening. We can only blame ourselves for the competitive season dying because of all the cry babies trying to make a difference , a bad difference.

As a CN member who was in 4 most active ppl there and who CWed over 70 clanwars for Cosa last season, I have to say we didnt stop playing after we reached 1st place. Ferlucci didint want to hear for that. As you know, we lost 1st place 2 days before the end of season when we lost few CWs and MK farmed Singularity for a gold medal.

Yes, I never said you stopped CW. I was using you guys as an example because you kept playing regardless. Never said you stopped.

The biggest problem nowadays are SP farmes who play GoT, RP, Ancient all the time, become high ranks and then ruin others' games as they can play any role only due to their rank. Also, the most of higher ranks don't want to hear advices of lower ranked players and they call low ranks trolls, leavers, spammers, etc.

Some examples:
- Almost all 3vs3s are allowed only for rank 7+ players.
- The most of scenarios (like War to end all wars (WW1)) are allowed only for rank 6+ players, and low ranks are allowed to play only small roles. Even when they get in, hosts kick them for being low ranked.

In short, the biggest problem is absolute rankism and scripted, autistic, repetitive playing style by the most of high ranks.

No. There are rank 5s who play and rank 11s who play Roleplay. And they mostly play it, rarely ever any other maps. There are people who always play scenarios and think they play them the best, not wanting to hear advices of the others and calling others trolls.

Thats not it at all, just a lot of the clans went inactive, yours, illyria, cosa etc, plain and simple. Inactivity causes more inactivity. Last season was a peak in atwar for activity. However, there is no doubt that the current system is definitely far better than the last. Now we just need that minimum of 40 cws to rank.

Nope. I play RP almost exclusively, and know most of the other RP regulars. If RP didn't exist, many of us wouldn't either. So RP isn't stealing your players, if anything it might be bringing more players in which a few could potentially switch from RP to Competitive. At worst, I would guess it's roughly breaking even.

lol, when someone rankup to 5,he is picking RP OR 3v3,and they are 99% starting to play RP.
I had luck that i found clan at rank4 and my first cw was when i was r4(i won that cw xd)
but if i didnt find that clan,i would probably join some rp and never stop playing it.
Players that transfer from rp to competetive will never be good as players that started learning 3v3 from r5-6.
So,deleting all rp maps will boost competetive side of the game for (if i calculate good) 53%(46% will go to play scenarios.)

I'm betting you do not calculate good, your total only adds up to 99% and doesn't account for how many will just leave atWar altogether. (Hint: It will be much more than 1%)

Some of those RPers are paying customers too, and help keep atWar alive and well. If the site shuts down, you'll have 0% playing competitive atWar. Might want to think about that before using RP as a scape-goat for all of atWar's woes.

Trouble with al the recent systems, is that they have not been implemented in full. Every time there are bits that are not agreed to by I+A, meaning that the system does not work as intended.

Before rp we where might, after rp we are not. Rp is the one factor that has destroyed aw. Most would of learned to play this game the correct way if not for rp, some woukd of left but those are not the people we want in the first place. Your cancer plan and simple and when aw dies those who loved this game the most will know the truth.

Pretty sure more would go to scenarios mostly because its obvious that 3v3 EU does not interest them. Same can be said for scenarios but I think it would be different because it seems like alot of RP fags claim 3v3 is "uninteresting" and boring

Rip scenarios though, can barely fill 8 player maps sometimes and filling anything over 11 or 12 is virtually impossible, just a question do 3v3 players also experience this? lol
