No, because rolls is what determines everything in the battle mechanics, taking rolls from atwar is like playing risk without a dice.
But making the rolls less random could be enough.
I didnt say rolls i said criticals.
You confused criticals with rolls, but u did said "rolls"

Basicly ...this idea can be made by cloning europe and removing criticals from units right?
:(

Eh actually i said criticals first but then i made a mistake and said rolls in a post after that.
Idk thought maybe removing critical hits would at least slightly remove luck from battles.

You cant remove rolls, you cant remove tbs, both are essential to the game mechanics. You can however remove criticals. but yea lucky bastard would be basically turned into an expensive version of none strat. And removing criticals wouldnt make that much of a difference anyway.
But i like the current system, like goblin said you sometimes get goodgamewinning rolls and tbs, other times you get bad ones. You might be able to make an argument for altering the system to reduce the luck factor and variance in results, but that could make for a boring atwar.

Lol... how could you guys possibly say remove rolls?
Just like tunder says, taking rolls from AW is like playing risk without dices, a.k.a. impossible?
...
While i don't think i'd play a game without 'rolls', it's not impossible ... the Axis and Allies and Risk clones both have this option... but imo, it turns the game into a 'mathematics' exercise and reduces strategy by removing the chance element... memorizing a series of pre-calculated moves isn't my idea of fun, but for those people who enjoy that style, i can't see why it couldn't be made an option.

Because, the one thing leads to another, in the first thing it won't harm the players who don't play without rolls/tbs. Later it will, if you want it or not.
anyways, if this really is going to get implented into AW, im pretty sure alot of people will quit this game.
