I wana restart the trainees program for ranks 5-0

You would be asking why we need this and what good would come out of this, well i am here to tell you why with

1.confusion when a player first joins
when a new player joins a new game there confused and wondering how to play does anyone tell them no, no one tells people how to play atwar so they go to an outdated tutorial that doesn´t teach them what the need to know about the basics of role-play or how to friend someone I want help new players stay not leave so atwar can have more active players then ever-before.

2.rank system:
we all know why the rank system is there and its purpose but its like looking at a skin not the mind and its sad no one gives the little guy many chances to prove himself in atwar and I want help new guys get know and have active friends in atwar. and help them get must have skills to rank-up or become big on the atwar player base

3 why me:
because none of you have stood up to these little guys and that needs to change. we all know rankism is well needed but if u guys just see his rank and kick him his true potential wont be well know and he will be looked over until he leaves from boredom or is treated like dirt till he ranks up

4. how will i do this
I will start a discord in the coming days where all new ranks can ask for help or just ask for some friends:
I will also accept messages on any questions about anything in atwar, and if u just need a friend I am also there

5. why does atwar need this:
low ranks are the back bone of atwar once there gone the game will fallow suit think of low ranks leaving like global warming over time atwars player base will slowly keep going down till it completely falls apart ( just a theory)


6. why the hell is a rank 7 doing this:
why they hell arn´t you doing this


7. why am I doing this now:
its mainly because I hit rank 7 and no one would respect a rank 6 doing this

8. I thought this was a job for the supporters:
i thought so too and man I was wrong

9. why dont I just complain to supporters:
cause they have other stuff to do this is my mission and my crusade

10. should someone with more experience lead the charge:
yes, but do you see anyone else doing it I think not

Good luck. Though for me, it's very demoralizing teaching beginner ranks only to have 90% of them quit before they ever get to rank 6 (the beginning rank to actually understanding how the game works).

It's why i have / had the requirement of atleast showing some sort of time commitment to the game by reaching rank 5-6 first.

If you want to know I myself receive weekly mails from lower ranks about the "new the the game?" Thread as well as answering help chat which lower ranks ask for help in frequently on a daily basis. On top of this I've done a couple of training sessions with other lower ranked players who wanted a bit of help, one of them being kommurishi123. So it's not we're not doing our job it's that we don't publicise it..

Maybe have a system that sends new players to a FAQ webpage with all the links to articles about the game ( e.g : articles about turnblocking, wallf**king ) after they have finished their tutorial?

As for the current tutorial, it does tell them about the FAQ and different help locations throughout AtWar; however, it doesn't automatically put them there so they will have to go their themselves.

As for the tutorial, the AW Dev Team, as well as Mods/Supporters, are all working to implement a new tutorial, which would include something along the lines of what you just said

This game wouldn't be here without upgrades. Besides rank, it's the only real progression system it has.

Im not going to discuss again for the 400th time something you just cant see

all i say is users drop out because they have noone upgrades and pros do

This game wouldn't be here without upgrades. Besides rank, it's the only real progression system it has.

Yes we need a progression system, no we dont need a system that penalizes newbies.

What's the supporters purpose in this game if they can't do these kind of things?
They claimed that spot in return to help promoting the game, creating a friendly environment for the players, support the current management team etc.
If they can't do such things in my opinion that "job-position-rank" (supporter) is useless and is just for a show off that admins created it to give a small applause to atwar old heads that never made it to mods, so they keep them happy with that green badge..if that's the purpose of being a supporter then it should be removed.
I'm not saying all of them, I met some good supporters who truly care about the game and the community and I still have faith in that project, but it needs radically changes to make it more effectively.

If you would have read above I came back about that specific statement and told everyone how wrong they were. Supporters help out players, especially lower ranks. Hell-- we even host pc drops and help them out. On top of this, some of the supporters such as Helly and myself held smaller training lesson games where we helped out the player base.

On top of this, I'll give you a list of everything the supporter team is doing/getting ready to do as a result of our last meeting (which was this previous Sunday):

- Help Chat/Forum Organization

- Community Relations

- Map Editor - (helping peoples with the map editor-- which can be seen through Hellykin, EJR, etc)- on top of this there are some new things we plan on doing that we can't just tell the public yet.

- AW Press/ATN (There hasn't been a release in a while-- but I can assure you we are working on the next release.)

- Events/Tournaments - Many of these can be seen in the tournaments page alone, and there is a PC or SP drop almost every day.

- Social Media - How do you think AW's Social Media got so active? It's all the supporters who do the work for it. It's the supporters who make almost daily posts, it's the supporters who go on reddit and answer the posts, it's the supporters who set up an official discord so AtWar can have a centralized meeting place for administrative meetings, customer support, fun things, and just chatting.

- Advertising - It's the supporters who go out and by hand advertise the game. This does go along with Dave actually paying for ad's such as on facebook or google; however, Supporters go by hand and advertise the game. Not all the time, but we have gained players through this method.

- Keeping the Game updated - It's the supporters who are going through threads like 'UK Expansion' or an old FAQ thread and updating it, or making a thread for the newcomers of the game such as the "New To The Game?" thread.

- As well as other things that the public can't see yet.

and on top of all this, supporters also schedule regular meetings with dave, the moderators, as well with themselves to discuss the game such as what needs to be done, what could be done, what needs to be confirmed, etc.

Also, just because you think a certain supporter does nothing, maybe you should check up with dave or a supporter you know is active to see if they're doing something that the public can't see. This is why you shouldn't judge them because a lot of us are doing stuff behind the scenes.

We also understand we aren't the best thing on AtWar, however it's better than nothing for you guys; and not only this, on average I myself put in an average of 70 hours a week recently into doing supporter work on AtWar. Either it be working on the discord, organizing supporter meetings, getting ready for the next AW Press, helping players, doing pc/sp drops, etc. It's a lot of work to be a supporter, and I'm not the only one putting in this much work.

So when you say supporters are useless, please rethink what you're saying; Because if it wasn't for supporters, a lot of AtWar's working parts would be dead and I guarantee you wouldn't be here because of it.

I understand that and I felt it was necessary to not only give you an update on things but also others who are saying what you said or similar. Apologies if it came out as blunt, but there is a lot of crap the supporters take for being "useless"

There have been many, in fact, I've run a couple of those. And there still are clans who do that or at least try to.

don't feel entitled like people HAVE to come and just help you ffs, nobody owes you a damn thing! if you are not receiving help go look in the mirror looking for answers
