Tell us who banned you, this way the community can have a say in the ban to see if it was unruly or not.

So your way of unban is making a cry thread in the forum?

I was once banned for showing up something about clovis and I was banned for 5 days and I didn't try to reverse it, I only had 1 talk (with Meester I think) and he said he couldn't do nothing, so I just waited out for the ban to expire. That's how it goes, that's how it's done.

Please stop making cry threads and wait for your ban to expire, unless mods make your case a road to #10daysban

TBF some mods are pure autismal cancerous tumors... Not going to name anyone, but the picture below sums up a few mods.

Don't see how Pi is crying here, he has pointed out an issue in what is literally mods being unreasonable. You may think being able to take 5 days is some kind of glorious achievement, but that doesn't mean you should put Pi down.

Anyway, let me count you something. Whenever someones makes a thread against a particular moderator they always tell you to try PMing the person. Not necessary mods, but also people. I've repeat those words by myself some time ago.

But to be honest, it doesn't always works. Essentially because they respect each other's actions. Desu said once that they appeal themselves - I've rarely found this as true.

I once had a very big problem with a mod. He was harassing me in public and threatening me with a punishment if I continued posting what he considered as 'troll'. Following advice I went straight to talk with him on private. He decide to ignore my messages. I went to talk with another mod which returned me to talk with the other mod. Then I made a thread criticizing this behavior and immediately got his response. We discussed for some days in private and it seems like nobody would secede: I was really trying to understand him but I felt like he didn't tried to understand me. I went and talked with other person, went and talked with other 'friendly' mods and used what they told me. Then I received this reply:

Lucky for me, I had bought my issue to the admins and got a response after a couple of days. My case with that person is unresolved, but at least now I have the guaranteed to not be threatened again. Until this day he couldn't put a finger on me, and I am honestly fine with that.

I know sometimes it looks like admins just ignore everything mod-related, but they do listen sometimes. Problem is that unlike at the start they don't have enough time to check the quality of the moderator team and theses stuff. We don't even have a "Report Moderator" button.

So my suggestion to you is to either PM admins and hope to get a response, or do nothing for the next 6 days and live with the injustice. Or you can try following the guidelines and talk with another mod, whichever you consider as better (which I don't suggest. I've tried this with poorly results).

What you did is very relevant. It's like saying that parole boards should treat convicted murders the same as those who got in prison for lesser crimes.

If what you did was very bad, then I'm inclined to side against you. If it is some dumb crap like chat spam, I would more likely side with you.

Secondly, a Moderator who banned me assumed the penalty is excessive for that case so he reduced it on 3 days.

Also, it doesn't matter same as name of this Moderator.
If I am banned for something on 2 or 22 days, this hopping from one decision to another and using such reasons for extending my ban is unacceptable, independently of what I have done, because I should be punished for my wrongdoing (even the base of ban is partly wrong, but it's another case), not for having nice wish to solve and soften it all like every normal people.

Did you post in forum before or after he changed it to 3 days? Maybe he didnt see your forum post and decided to punish you after he did. Then he punished you further for affronting on his initial kindness.

I know there is a lot more to this story than you are telling us, people have a bad habit of leaving things out that arr inconvenient.

His initial kindness was to reasonably lower first ban which was too hard for the case?

Please know that I have seen screenshots, and I believe that the best solution is for the player to continue an open friendly discussion with the moderator. From the screenshots, it appears as the player in question chose to stop communicating abruptly after not getting what he/she wanted. If you choose, I am willing to mediate between the two party.

Obviously I DIDN'T WANT anything. The Mod contacted me right after this thread and expect from me that:

1) I will really believe he forgot my username.
Well, he could easily disable all other chats post duel except private one and the messages from private would get back. Also, we all know Mods can search for the lost text just by typing any word of the text they were looking for and if the Mod wasn't able to remember my username, neither any word of what I was talking, that would mean only one thing - he didn't even read anything from my messages and later when we talked, I was punished more because of being kind in conversation with him. Pretty ironic

2) I will continue solving things with him
I already contacted Admins as clovis suggested and I will solve everything about this case with them. I still have some pride with myself to allow someone with power to have fun of me.





I know sometimes, when you do wrong moves, you want to smooth over the situation as the Mod is doing now, but don't forget I was doing same when I had been banned and got only extension of my ban.
That's the only reason I won't continue solving things with him, he has clearly shown he's not competent to end this problem and that's it. Better for him, better for me.
