GW Nerf militia defense by 1. 20 bucks for 6 defense is just too good. I will challenge anyone to play vs me as GW turkey 10k Europe plus, and you cannot use GW, and I am pretty confident I will win. MoS Increase Marine HP by 1 in MoS. Done.

Challenging people to beat you with a strategy other than GW is not easy SonyHaxor... mainly because you're god damn SonyHaxor and you are not to be messed with! I honestly think they're fine as it is. For MoS, such a move would make it slightly OP. We have few good MoS players but they are still very good players as they have the advantage of surprise. Playing against a marine-heavy army is infuriating. If MoS had to be buffed, I'd prefer something like 1+ movement range for marines or submarines and stealth planes.

Well, the main problem with MoS is one of Funds, right now there are onyl 2 ways it is viable, starting as america, or sarting in the West of Europe preferably with UK, and even when you do this you must use many infantry and nto many marines. Marines are just too expensive, and they drop like flies every time you use them. Unlike other strategies, marines get no cover from units with good defense, they are always taking all the causalities on their own, look at bombers in SM, you get 8 / 6 for the same price as you get marines 9/3 - the 3 is the killer, I would rather have 8/4 than 9/3 or 9/3 and 1 extra HP. They need to be tougher for their price. 130 bucks for a 1 time use is EXPENSIVE. Yesterday I tried running mexico / Central America, and most of south america, and some of Africa in a world game and it was still not even close to enough to what i needed to advance quickly/attack Europe, this is using militia and Inf when I can, I was pulling in 2500 and this was still not enough for all the subs + marines needed to expand at the rate i'm used to with SM and other strats. As for GW, 10 bucks a unit won't make much of a difference, I did a Eurasia Africa world game yesterday as well, and by turn 14 i had all of europe, russia, and middle east, something like 45k and even spamming marines and air transports I couldn't spend it all.

It already is 8/3 for the mos marines man. Don't know where you have that one attack more from. But I too think that marines are too expensive, the +1 HP on the other side sounds very heavy to me. Should be ok for them to drop like flies, as long as it doesn't cost too much to reproduce them.

Fruit, why would i play Mos using most of my troops as inf - might as well just play PD. The problem is when you want to use mostly marines, you can't. So Mos can't have an army of mostly marines, but GW can... How is it Master of stealth again?

Sony doesn't know how to use MoS. That kind of game would depend entirely on the amount of cash given. As 3-5K. Not sure. But 10-15k. An MoS player can win. You probably aren't playing it right. MoS > GW It just needs the right amount of cash.

MoS is better than GW in terms of later expansion and inter-continental wars (the +1 submarine capacity and the boosted range of it does a lot of difference to stealth invasions). Yes, in general terms GW is still better than MoS, but again I come in a thread like this to say: don't nerf GW to balance it with MoS, or we will have two underpowered strategies. Also, GW is a strategy already based on marines (and militias), so a buff to MoS marines or reducing its price will make it very similar to an already existent strategy. Why don't we think about other ways to boost MoS? Submarines, Stealths and Marines are buffed on MoS, so maybe slight increase to Sentry Planes stealth detection or make them cheaper would be a different thing, yet useful. Since he is the Master of Stealth, it should be better on detecting it too.

With reference to the general balance of strategies i really think we're on a good way. The PD and IF nerfs have done their job. These strategies are pretty much on one level with SM (and probably MoS) now. I also updated the suggestions thread, but we absolutely need a GW nerf. It is the last overpowered strategy at the moment (even if not as much OP as PD and IF were) and I think a small nerf could bring it to the level of the other strategies.

Since it is your main strategy, yes. This is actually why Hugosch never wanted the PD nerf and Aristo not the IF nerf. But it is really the last thing to change and we have a few pretty balanced strategies and (1vs1) games will be way more fun.

GW is plain and simple too strong. and MoS is a tiny bit weak, I honestly don't think 1 hp will make MoS Op, it will just let you keep a few more marines on attack. ie on 10 marines it is only 10 more hp 1.4 marines equivalent. btw 10 marines costs 1300 cash with upgrades... That's a lot for one time use attack. If their were more coastal cities this also might help MoS, cause most city battles do not involve subs.

I do agree on both, however instead of nerfing militia def I'd nerf its attack, it's 5 now and militias (comparing to rl uses) is mainly for defence and the GW player after some time uses marines for attack who are cheap and decent. I'd recommend a -1 to militia attack, it's 5 now, that is more than PD infantry (4) and PD doesn't even have an offensive unit. About MoS fruit says it's fine however everyone else says it isn't, I reckon it needs a slight buff (it's only a little UP I believe). Despite what I say about the IF nerf, the air transports have been overnerfed compared to GW and SM ratios, I think it only needs to be an extra -2 instead of -3 (more on he appropriate topic).
