Idea to help new players ~ Ally a noob

My proposal is to every so often, create a world game in the beginners room when a +5 rank would ally with a -4 rank, with hopefully 20 players in a game, to help noob's progress into the main room with more skill, without the need for a structured training program. The idea being for the more experienced player to help the new player in games.

  • Games will take place whenever, look out on global
  • Noob abusers and -4r alts will face death by stoning
  • Mods and supporters welcome to host games too, just ask me how to get main ranks in the beginners room
  • I suggest world 15k 1 ally locked but whatever, noobs love 50k and map doesn't matter so much
  • Ask higher ranks to live feed and record the game window so noobs can watch afterwards and see in game as well
  • If players enjoy, it could lead to a tourney
  • Backstabbing and peace fagging encouraged
  • Pre-organised lingual pairings to offer multi-lingual support

If you have a spare hour of your time, that you can donate to poor noobs and help them to live to fight another day, helping them become great masters of AtWar, please let me know if you can help, and ask othe mods and supporters to make these games as well. Remember you were a SuperNoob once too! Any questions, feel free to ask!???

To take main ranks to begginer room you need to give them the link for a game, this way they will be able to join. This is what you're proposing isn't it??

So the idea is to let some high ranks get to main so they get used to us or to teach them?

Highlight where is it says that pls .... no, the idea is for supporters and moderators to host games in beginners room and invite main rank players to offer general tips.

Eh.... this is like chewing the food for them.. < I know bad expression but you get the point.

''Noobs'' as you guys call it are not brainless? they arent blind? most likely they will learn faster than any of us. The point is, when people start playing a game (any kind online game) in the beginnin they like it, they keep playing it and dont really see the lacks or things about it because they are fresh. For people who have been playing this game for ages which 80% already quit playing, they actually enjoy playing 1 or 2 games. Now proposing some things that most likely speak for them self and if the ''noobs'' rank up to main lobby they get trained and skilled them self. You are actually encouring them to rely on allies and stuff, thats like the worst thing of training... if you tell a ''noob'' to play FFA he 90% wont do it, why? because they all rely on allies now days...

You should encourage the ''noobs'' to play 10k/5k/3k/ and in 2/3mins. This will train their skill lvl in playing quick with hard income/funds so they can learn off it.
All I see now is 50k games spamming AT's with tanks and and infantry.... Like acq proposed in an earlier post, I think 50k should be for premium members and for scenarios..

I am not saying noobs are stupid or blind, I just found they all wanted to go on my team when I made a game in beginners, (obviously I am higher rank) they asked me a lot of questions and they thanked me fore my time and I recruited 2 young rank clan members as a result. I had fun teaching, and the noobs had fun learning, so I am just thinking of more ways to get other more experienced players involved. With 1 ally locked is hardly ally fagging.
Well most games in the beginners room are ally dependent anyway and most don't have the skill level to play ffa.
Any cash/map/time setting fine and I am just looking for ways to help new players learn quicker and become more experienced, not trying to turn them all into ally fag or something, on this one I really fail to see any real strength to argument.

Well, you said you encourage them to backstabbing and allyagging/peacefagging same thing. I mean I heard from alot of players in that training clan of SA that none of those ''noobs/lowrankers'' calll them however you want to, they could never play any CW. Some of those players were old friends of mine who went from inactive to active and were skillled enough. (my opinion).

My point is, we cant do everything for everybody only because they are new to the game, I see daily new forums (which im sure of they know how to look) with alot of trainings, for example clovis's or old players like arbit and tophats/learster etc. Now I am talking about learster, he never allies anyone (sometimes he does) he always plays worldgames or biglong games, because those lowranked people think they have no chance they or dont even join near him or ally with 6 people to ''kill'' him, the thing is, even if they lose they can improve on it. They can train about it and see it, there is no need for all ''highrankers'' to ''train'' them, they can do it them self, ofcourse some basic tips and stuff are good and needed but the rest they need to figure it out. I see alot of people who went from slowrolling to rushing at turn 3 only because their ''teacher'' have taught them..

And speaking of highrankers now, most of those ''highrankers'' are just sp farmers who lvled their way up to 8/9/10. You cant really rely on 50% of those highrankers if they cant even play the game properly themself.

Sun Tsu: Most players I kicked because I was tired of chasing them to participate in clan chat and forum, not skill related. In terms of allying and backstabbing that's what I found was the most fun part of the game when I joined and don't really want the games to be so serious just simply for fun, perhaps you can't see the comedy element of the statement, but like it or not from my experience and research this is the key component of the game that noobs use to win so yea, you really don't have to take part if you don't like the idea. The idea in my opinion does not cause any detriment to the community and is meant to be a fun way to learn without the need for an organized system like a clan or academy. A lot of lower ranks are either shy or don't want have the time to join a clan this game format will help them.

Sun Tsu: The whole point is to create a fun learning platform for players and it is rewarding to help new players, in any format game hosts are welcome to create any scenario or game that is fun for the participants and which they see fit, I don't expect them all if any to become pro clan war players, or hold any other expectations in that regard.

And speaking of highrankers now, most of those ''highrankers'' are just sp farmers who lvled their way up to 8/9/10. You cant really rely on 50% of those highrankers if they cant even play the game properly themself.
Sun Tsu: I farmed my way up to level 8 in world 50k mainly, its what I enjoyed most with my minimal skill level, the fact is they have a enough experience to help a player who has only a few days experience and the different skill levels represented by high ranks offers another dynamic to any games. Of course, the higher the standard of players, the more productive the training in my opinion

Okii now I get your point .
I thought you just wanted all of us to do.
And for new players who plays like 1 or 2 I agree, but the rank 3/4's they can quiet play them self
