Simple, i have 3 capitals, you have to take the 3 to kill me.
[the other 2 capitals can be a bigger start or a X]

for example in scenarios like ww2, to kill UK you will have to hold the capital, and the key city of india.
or to kill russia, you would need Moscow, and a key city in siberia.
[it dosn't have to be limited 2, it could have a limit of 3. and it dosn't have to be +2. some scenario sides could have only 1 capital, meanwhile other scenario sides have 2 or 3 key cities]

I think the original idea is nice, but the only way for it to be *easily* implemented is a game where we can choose multiple starting countries....

But yea, has my support.

This isn't really like TA, in TA in order to kill someone you need all cities even if it's all the way over in Fiji.
Here you have to take the main countries capital.
For example let's say in a WWII scenario the only way to beat the US is to take the capitals of both USA: Pacific and Atlantic.

It can also work for normal games. In world games where you can pick multiple countries if this option is selected an enemy will have to take both countries' caps.
Let's say in this type of world game I pick France and UK. In order to beat me you have to take the caps of both UK and France.

As you can see this indeed very different from TA.
TA is when you kill every unit and take every enemy city. You're typing about Capture All Enemy Cities.

Isn't it the same thing?
There are only two options when making a game; Capture Player Country, and Total Annihilation.
There should be ''capture all enemy cities'' option.

There is its called Total Annihilation.

I thought there was capture all cities, TA, Capture cap and capture homcountry. TA is when you kill every unit and take every city I think.

Well, if you're going to take into consideration that a nation wouldn't stop fighting if the capital was taken, why would it stop fighting if 3 or 5 capitals were taken?

its more to symbolize the fall of a government, if moscow fell in ult ww2, the russian government would fall but the army would just stop operating without a centralized command, so they turn neutral and just defend cities, kinda realistic but the best a game can do

Interesting, nice to have.

So far we have the following victory conditions:
  • Capture player country: capital (and hold for 0-5 turns)
  • Capture player country: whole country (and hold for 0-5 turns)
  • Total annihilation (capture all enemy cities)
  • Capture neutral country: capital (and hold for 0-5 turns)
  • Capture neutral country: whole country (and hold for 0-5 turns)

With these options a map-maker can simulate what has been discussed previously. In a scenario just create a country with, lets say London as its capital and Delhi as a second city in this country. If the victory condition then is to Capture player country: whole country (and hold for 2 turns), then you have to take London and Delhi in order to have victory over UK in a WWII game. If you don't want to move things so much around, then you just have to create an UK-Embassy near Delhi and put it as a UK city and do the same stuff...

Like I said, would be a nice to have for map and scenario-makers, but with some fiddlings same results can be obtained.

but then that makes delhi utturley useless without london, or if you reverse it then if germany takes london fast (typical in ult ww2) then germany would be able to use all of Uk unless it took delhi, what tunder is saying would just make it to where wars could have multiple victory points, forcing war to be more wide than a narrow cap, or even full country, rushing.

Agree, fully.
With the current system the only option is to make something like and "embassy" overseas (can have income 1 and reinf 1), which has to be taken if condition is "capture whole country". So it wouldn't be enough to take London (and other UK cities), but also the embassy, which could be close to Delhi.

but then that would make the embassy look weird, its all about the flow of the game, and just making it so that we can make multiple capture points is honestly simple enough

Couldn't India just be like a second home country in this case?
I imagine that the way a UK would lose in WW2 would be if UK itself is captured and India as well.

Or, going even further, how about "Capture n% of Nominated Capitals."

So the scenario maker picks multiple capitals, for example in a WW2 Soviet Union, Moscow, Leningrad, and Novosibirsk, and you have to capture two (doesn't matter which two) of these to bring the Soviets to their knees.
