In recent News, Angry Libyan and Egyptian mobs burned down US embassies, and murdered the occupants, yet, we still act as though these people have value. If your mindset is to "slay all who disown the almighty Mohammod", then why do you care about freedom? Why do you care about love, religion, and family? Why does it matter to you, if you believe in having the personal power to take it away from someone else?

You're acting like these mobs are the only people in Libya and Egypt. It's not like the whole country hates us, it's just some groups really don't like us, and decided to take out their anger on the embassies.

To much radical islam in Egypt and Libya. Calls to Destroy Egypt's Great Pyramids Begin AINA/Front Page Magazine ^ | 7-10-2012 | Raymond Ibrahim Posted on Tue Jul 10 2012 18:22:57 GMT+0200 (Central European Daylight Time) by nickcarraway According to several reports in the Arabic media, prominent Muslim clerics have begun to call for the demolition of Egypt's Great Pyramids--or, in the words of Saudi Sheikh Ali bin Said al-Rabi'i, those "symbols of paganism," which Egypt's Salafi party has long planned to cover with wax. Most recently, Bahrain's "Sheikh of Sunni Sheikhs" and President of National Unity, Abd al-Latif al-Mahmoud, called on Egypt's new president, Muhammad Morsi, to "destroy the Pyramids and accomplish what the Sahabi Amr bin al-As could not." This is a reference to the Muslim Prophet Muhammad's companion, Amr bin al-As and his Arabian tribesmen, who invaded and conquered Egypt circa 641. Under al-As and subsequent Muslim rule, many Egyptian antiquities were destroyed as relics of infidelity. While most Western academics argue otherwise, according to early Muslim writers, the great Library of Alexandria itself--deemed a repository of pagan knowledge contradicting the Koran--was destroyed under bin al-As's reign and in compliance with Caliph Omar's command. However, while book-burning was an easy activity in the 7th century, destroying the mountain-like pyramids and their guardian Sphinx was not--even if Egypt's Medieval Mamluk rulers "de-nosed" the latter during target practice (though popular legend still attributes it to a Westerner, Napoleon). Now, however, as Bahrain's "Sheikh of Sheikhs" observes, and thanks to modern technology, the pyramids can be destroyed. The only question left is whether the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt is "pious" enough--if he is willing to complete the Islamization process that started under the hands of Egypt's first Islamic conqueror. Nor is such a course of action implausible. History is laden with examples of Muslims destroying their own pre-Islamic heritage--starting with Islam's prophet Muhammad himself, who destroyed Arabia's Ka'ba temple, transforming it into a mosque. Asking "What is it about Islam that so often turns its adherents against their own patrimony?" Daniel Pipes provides several examples, from Medieval Muslims in India destroying their forefathers' temples, to contemporary Muslims destroying their non-Islamic heritage in Egypt, Iraq, Israel, Malaysia, and Tunisia. Currently, in what the International Criminal Court is describing as a possible "war crime," Islamic fanatics are destroying the ancient heritage of the city of Timbuktu in Mali--all to Islam's triumphant war cry, "Allahu Akbar!" Much of this hate for their own pre-Islamic heritage is tied to the fact that, traditionally, Muslims do not identify with this or that nation, culture, heritage, or language, but only with the Islamic nation--the Umma. Accordingly, while many Egyptians--Muslims and non-Muslims alike--see themselves as Egyptians, Islamists have no national identity, identifying only with Islam's "culture," based on the "sunna" of the prophet and Islam's language, Arabic. This sentiment was clearly reflected when the former Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Muhammad Akef, declared "the hell with Egypt," indicating that the interests of his country are secondary to Islam's. It is further telling that such calls are being made now--immediately after a Muslim Brotherhood member became Egypt's president. In fact, the same reports discussing the call to demolish the last of the Seven Wonders of the Word, also note that Egyptian Salafis are calling on Morsi to banish all Shias and Baha'is from Egypt. In other words, Morsi's call to release the Blind Sheikh, a terrorist mastermind, may be the tip of the iceberg in coming audacity. From calls to legalize Islamic sex-slave marriage to calls to institute "morality police" to calls to destroy Egypt's mountain-like monuments, under Muslim Brotherhood tutelage, the bottle has been uncorked, and the genie unleashed in Egypt. Will all those international institutions, which make it a point to look the other way whenever human rights abuses are committed by Muslims, lest they appear "Islamophobic," at least take note now that the Great Pyramids appear to be next on Islam's hit list, or will the fact that Muslims are involved silence them once again--even as those most ancient symbols of human civilization are pummeled to the ground?

So now they're attacking every American thing they can see? This is pathetic, simply pathetic. Why hasn't the Arab league discouraged these atrocities? Why has the U.N. allowed it to go on? Why do the Arab nations where this is happening not care? I think it's time the US pulls all funding and support to these countries, and see how fast the Jenga tower falls. Let those damned wastes-of-flesh have their fucking bloodbath if they so well please. I'm usually sympathetic to people, but in this case, I'm just sickened with the stupidity. I don't agree with atheism's poor view on reality, but it's a damned lot better than this "ALAHU AKBAR" shit. I'm sorry I doubted your racism, Europeans.

Yeah gard as gking said it's only the radical idiot muslims who did it. It was a reaction to an anti islam movie that percived muhammes as a child molesting terroist or some shit. Of course it was not sanctioned by the us government but those monkeys don't understand such things. Al this being said, 99% of muslims are just like your average carholic/athiest or w/e the fuck. They just want to live their lives in peace and protect their families. Unforrunately the wrong people get in charge and that doesn't happen. The us government have actually done a lot of good work in iraq and afghanistan, most of your usual civilians don't really want them to leave. Because that will leave the taliban in charge or worse, saying we should just remove all support because of a few fanatical groups is a bit naive of you gard.

A bit naive? Making everyone suffer at one time is the easest way to make everyone want you back so nobody suffers. I understand your point about the whole "99%" thing, but it's really, really, not that high of a number. If it was, we wouldn't have this mess.

Dude all muslims being extremists is just as stereotypical as all black men are criminals and rapists. they are a minority, unfortunately that minority also have a lot of money and support because it is normally in a leader's best interests to enforce extremist views because it is a way of controlling the population. and yeah Mr.Socialist, most westerners wouldn't give a shit.

USA propoganda? USA bullshit? USA did everything huh? It's all the Americans fault because we're totally tyrannical and fucking evil, right? Here, let Mr. Gregory Topliff tell you what your thick skull has hid from you all this time: "I would like to put something into perspective for all of those outraged militant Muslims out there who hate the American people.
First of all, you scream, "death to America"! and riot, killing our people and burning our embassies. The excuse according to news reports was about a little known film that disrespected Mohammad but that isn't the real reason. Militant fanatical Muslims have instigated the attacks just like they did in the past. It was Muslims fanatics that killed over 241 American servicemen in the barracks bombing in Lebanon in 1983. It was Muslim fanatics that killed 17 and wounded 39 on the USS Cole back in 2000. It was Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, another Muslim fanatic who tried to blow up Tower One of the World Trade Center in 1993 killing 6 people and injuring over 1042 people. The worst offender off all was Osama bin Laden who killed nearly 3000 Americans in his attacks against our country. The above are just a few atrocities committed by Muslim fanatics who have a total disregard for human life. We as a people are the victims of attacks by Muslims who don't practice what they preach. It wasn't the United States that started the conflicts that have brought you to hating us, it was the Muslims fanatics so, if you want to place blame on anyone for your plight in life, stop blaming the American people and blame them. They are the ones who started the fight; we will be the ones to finish it."

My take on both the video and Muslim reaction: just don't mind. The video only means to stir hate between both cultures and it did so pretty successfully, as seen in the quote Gardevoir gave above this post here. If I may take the last part out:
I don't know who that Gregory Topidiot is, but such tough talking doesn't make anything better. In fact, he only promises what the Muslims are activly doing right now, so how is he any better than them? The video only means to radicalise both sides and that it does so very effectivly already shows by our dear Gardevoir picking this quote. It's a stupid quote full of shit and half-truths, quoted from a man that only plays into the hands of the people who made this video. How can you be so easily impressed by such platitudes man? Can't you see that they only stir even more hate, but on the American side? It's not helpful at all. I feel like the video was only made to provoke this exact reaction on the American side, the one of the Muslims only being a tool for this. If both sides would care less such videos wouldn't even be made in the first place.
