There most noted (and subjectively "only") ways of living, is living in mobile home sites, allowing marriages at the age of 16, gathering and taking "care" of horse's and taking children that reach the age of 16 out of school.

These group of people have an enormous bad and destructive reputation on the island's of the British isles. In Ireland the idea of this community is being morphed into being a "race" saying anything bad about these people would be considered "racist" nowadays.

Do you agree with these people being a race?, if so, does this mean the "rednecks" in USA are a race or anybody that has different ways of living in any other country a "race"?

What is your take on it? Is there a group in your country that has a different way if living?

I'm confused with that definition. Does that mean people with certain disabilities are a race? What if the disability is hereditary?, that is shared and not willingly too.

Sex and gender are different, gender can be a social construct while sex is what you were born with

The definition of race has morphed over the years. Today, most people agree that race usually refers to skin color. The issue you are talking about really boils down to semantics. Discriminating against gypsies isn't racial discrimination, but ethnic discrimination. Although they are different, the word racism has been broadly used to encompass ethnic discrimination as well. Because of this, it wouldn't be wrong to say that someone is racist because they are ethnically discriminating against gypsies.

Redneck isn't an ethnicity. It's just a derogatory term towards rural southern white Americans. I hope this clears everything up!

In Murica we have the amish who are descended from Germanic people and they even have their own language, usually referred to as Pennsylvania Dutch. They are hardcore Christians who cut themsleves off from modern America and like to live without electricity. They usually live in agricultural areas , so I guess they aren't really gypsies. They are a lot more well behaved than what you describe the travelers being though. Its very rare seeing Amish outside of Amish country, but sometimes you see them sightseeing or at the zoo with their families. They are diurnal creatures and are best observed during the day, and prefer not being in the sun due to their milky white complexion, thanks to their Germanic roots. Send pics if any of you spot some, I may upload some of my own

Not getting your take on it.

"But ethnic discrimination"

Thought skin colour and region of the earth would be considered "ethnic" and insulting them would be racist?
