Well here we go: Remember the free militias you get when you take a city? It is really simple, you take your ally's city(while without formal alliance) and get free militia. take USA Great Lakes and France as examples: ~23 and ~20 militia every 2 turns. Awesome? 1. Take turns taking the cities of a region that is far away from the fronts, 2. move out of the city right after capturing, then 3. your ally can recapture city on the 2nd turn so he can get units. Suggest a marine when taking the cities so the others don't suspect them for the first few turns. Or you can just announce it on chat. Really make sure that he/she is a VERY reliable ally who will not abuse your cities.(Vafika might not be a good idea) Advantage: 1. Free militias(only the weekly maintenance cost) (20-28 for a fairly large country) Disadvantage: 1. Loss of at least 600-700 income 2. You must use Guerilla Warfare for this to work well 3. Must split up attacks on countries or they will attack each other 4. World Games might not work as well as Eurasia Games 5. Frequent communication required (just make sure that you are on the same chapter as the ally) 6. watchout for back stabbing Tip: could test loyalty by surround each other's capital with marines. Disclaimer: I do not encourage SP farming or join the game as two people at the same time Give your thoughts.

Utter rubbish which, even accoridng to you, has many more disadvantages than advantages. And it's for -free- militia, one of the costliest units in the game right?

This is a hilarious thread. Let him and his friend try it in game. Meanwhile, while they waste time, a skilled player will send a real army in and kill them both.

This is funny theoretically but kind of pointless realistically. Just use GW and auto-produce militia.

I have done this once, but it only lasted for 2 turns, then we had to ally because in the meantime, the other enemies close in. So not only trust, but also how safe it is from those you don't want involved in your free militia spawning.

It... Wouldn't work. Why? Because, A) WAY TOO MUCH BACKSTABBING B) Militia, even on GW are mainly defensive units. And this is also time consuming. Too far off, buddy.
