Hey, I was thinking about publishing a mini book in (pdf) about how after more than 2 years of addiction (to atwar) I used atwar to step ahead in my real life and actually using its reward system to grow in other aspects of my life, curious to see if some of you can help me out with yourself experiences. so I'm not gonna write as a professional but as who has walked the way of getting rid of addictive games to real life. I hope I get free times to write it cuz of the high density of my daily plans. The curious people who don't know what I am : I'm a student of BSc civil engineering (7th semester) and atwar made me struggle with many of my courses in university and finally I've got rid of it and trying to make a big step to get admission for the best university in my country for the ideal purpose of making Value to the world (besides other simple logical purposes)instead of getting lost in bad habits Thanks The books which directly helped me in that way, Deep Work: Cal Newport The Compound Effect: Darren Hardy in addition, some sport biography books which gave me the motivation and simple algorithms that I needed to Step Ahead Cristiano Ronaldo The Rise of a Winner The Artist: Being Iniesta The Flea: The Amazing Story of Leo Messi wud be pleasant to see your comments on this, Thank you for your kind attention.
---- *enough atwar, leaving it for the game of real life

I used to play atwar a lot more when i had time. once my semester started, i got boggled down with so much shit that i'd rather sleep than play. i could have half assed the work and just played atwar, but that's just stupid. i'm sure any person with somewhat decent judgement skills would put work above atwar, lol. real game addicts are probably minuscule in number and probably have some form of mental illness.

Cool Thread I get where youre coming from, as i myself am an atwar addict D I think addiction can be both good and evil, but most of us are stuck with the stigma that all addiction is evil. Peoples success stories in career/sport and anything they reaching for lies down to pure addiction towards the narrow sided goal. Often ignoring everything else besided it. At least thats how i think successful people think. The footballers you mentioned are a prime example of that, to reach thier goal they had to be the ball for 23 hours a day, and their main drive wasnt money or fame, it was their love and addiction for the sport. Humans are goal driven creatures after all. im not saying, be addicted to every distraction like with games or something with no value "major the minors", but rather put the effort into someting that that will give purpose and meaning, at the end of the day.

Like, I don't even have enough time to sleep as it is without playing atwar. So I cant play atwar even if i wanted to. I tried to cut two hours of sleep once to play atwar - fell asleep turn 9 while playing a 50k world map

Never understood how some people cannot balance a schedule. I've become a caffeine-addled zombie in my adulthood, no thanks in part to early 2012/2013 world 50k games though. Fuck that whole "I'm not willing to compromise my vast quantities of magic points by allyending with you" bullshit. But nah, there's some people on this game that seriously play this game way too much. I don't know how some of you guys racked up literal millions of SP, nor how you could stand this game's bugs and this game's community for that long, but kudos I guess.

Nobody is really busy they just say they are to feel important. Understandable if you maybe do 12 hours of manual labour for minimal wage like tunder and garde do. Just think about all the distractions and shit you do every day for hours on end and they can be avoided if you make a proper no BS schedule.

Try to find the culprit. Bad diet can lead to low energy during the day and unproper sleep schedules, many factors actually.

when you come home tired, you really don't want to play 20 minutes of atwar. you'd rather sleep. it's like saying i could cut off 2 hours of sleep to play atwar for 2 hours, but should i do it? no.

i don't study for an exam because i'm motivated to do it. i study for it because it's a necessity. i really don't understand your point at all. you just can't wrap your head around the fact that some people have enough necessities on a daily basis that prevent them from playing games.
