And The Point Is, That's NOT A Valid Point, 3v3 and 50K World Map Are ENTIRELY Different And No Comparision Like He Made Should Be Brought To The Table

Well this what the whole thread is about. Comparing skill games (3v3, 3k etc.) with spam games (50k world, most scenarios etc.) and why ranks should reflect ability more. So I deduce that he has every right to make the comparison.

I believe you are another player that has achieved an over inflated rank not reflective of their true ability. You have 500 wins... most skilled players by rank 10 have nearly 1000 wins.

I am the author of this topic, I j replied in my alt because a few of the participants are ignored. (now i remember why).

It wouldn't destroy the incentive to play big money games because if players enjoyed playing them, then they still will, I mean why wouldn't they? they will still get upgrades from SP. This will encourage those players that only play 'spam games' to play other maps as well as high scoring SP games.

Not all would leave, but as many people are looking to rank up, there would be a gradual shift towards more Europes, and less variety.
What I say isn't what has to happen, it's just my opinion, that's all.

The game should be about players enjoying the game not about ranking up, this is the whole point. Rank shuold reflect ability/skilol/experience not who can build the biggest stack and smash them against another big stack. At the moment rank doesn't bear any resemblance to anything that relates to a players playing attributes.

There is no real way to fix the rank system. Putting the min. games limit to rank up can just as easily be abused, if not easier than farming SP, as players can either farm games subtly, or just get a friend and spam game after game after...
I agree, the rank system does need a change, but not in this way, I'm thinking

What is insulting is calling people retards/plebs over the type of games played. And I have seen u play... 1v1 agaiinst a skilled lower rank and id put good money on the lower rank winin for the game.

I didnt say a Euro player, I said a skilled player, please stop taking what I say out of context. Infact when did I mention Europe once in our exchange? Most scenarios/custom maps are unbalanced with totally overpowered units/countries usually with allies leading to overinflated SP and rank. I am not saying you are a bad player. I said your rank doesn't reflect your true ability when compared with other players who can play on any map with any setting at the same ranks that have over 1000 wins next to their name.

You Dont Have To Care But Thats Who I Was Insulting So It Is Entirely Relevant To The Previous Part Of The Discussion.

You Said A "1V1" Which Is Only On Maps Such As EU Where Expansions Are Taught And Learnt, If I Was To Play Another Rank 10 On A Map We Both Had Not Played Before, I Would Do As Well If Not Better Than That Said Player. My Gameplay Preferences Do Not Dictate Skill. I Know How To Play The Game As Well As Anyone And Me Playing Scenarios Which Are A Lot More Varied And In My Opinion Fun Does Not Hinder This In The Slightest.

Look you are an experienced player, playing the game longer than I have, you probably do know the mechanics and I am probably wrong to suggest you don't deserve to be a rank 10, apologies if that offended you. You probably understand the mechanics as well as anyone agreed. You must admit, there are lots of rank 10+ players out there who in no way deserve to be anywhere near rank 10 though. Let alone 11, 12, 13... which is the reason for this thread.... their should be someway to prevent unskilled/inexperienced players hitting high ranks, you gotta admit something needs to be done. If not I can only conclude a case of delusion. There must be some form of incentive to motivate players to play games that do not churn out tonnes of SP just for the sake of ranking up.

Do you also have a multiplier that depends on the initial funds?

I compared 3k world games with 50k world games!! Same map, different starting funds!!

I wouldn't be so sure about that... I think people play for the sp (upgrades), not the rank itself. They could still farm 50k world games but their rank wouldn't be reflected only by their sp, also by the number of wins.

Noob High Ranks Is A Problem That Will Not Go And Only Grows With The Introduction of RP And Such Scenarios. Until Scenarios Such As RP Where Allyfagging And Mass Troop Hoarding Is Removed, The Problem Will Not Go. So As Far As I'm Concerned, Live With It.

For avoid a discussion that leads this to off-topic, I will just say that I disagree. This is my personal opinion. Don't try to change it.
