Black Ops is Great! But Still Figuring Out Some Things

I just got Black Ops last Tuesday (September 20 in the U.S.), and I'm looking around. Campaign was pretty good, though the FN FAL could've looked cooler. Solo Zombies was pretty interesting. I managed to upgrade my M1911, which was pretty sweet. I figured out the items needed to make music (meteor on Kino and red telephone on "Five") And on "Five", how do you kill the evil scientist without him stealing you weapon and without using Insta-Kill (he stole my Commando and SPAS-12!!!!!)? How do you effectively kill him at all? And I still need to figure out how the Defcon system works, though I know pressing all the switches goes to Defcon 5, leading to the pack-a-punch room.

Online Zombies wasn't so great, as I ended up playing with a bunch of noobs. My first one was on "Five", and I got the most kills, most headshots, most revives, was the only one who upgraded (I upgraded the Ak-74u and MP5K), bought the most perks, got the most points, died only once, and I was the last one alive upon gameover. Lived a measly 13 rounds.

Online multiplayer was great! My first match was Headquarters in Nuketown that bumped me up to level 6; I was playing Mercenary Mosh Pit, and I had a kill/death ratio of more than 2.50. Funny. In that lobby, more than half the games were in Nuketown (I actually like that map!). On my next lobby, more than half the games were in Radiation (this map's awesome, as well). My favorite SMG is AK-74u extended mags, assault rifle is Famas with red dot, shotgun is SPAS-12 with suppressor, LMG is Stoner63 (was it 63 or something else?), but that was a stolen weapon, I did not use any of the snipers, and I usually get rid of secondary weapons, usually replacing them with an SMG, assault rifle, or shotgun. My favorite perk 1 is Ghost, perk 2 is Sleight of Hand, and perk 3 is Hacker, though I don't always use those three in that specific combo. Lightweight+Sleight of Hand+Marathon is also great, but because I don't have any pros, I don't want to use Lightweight or Marathon without each other. I am around level 28 or so, and I played about 15 matches by far.

Tell me your Black Ops experience, preferrably including your experience when you were new to the game. Include some epic matches if you had any (multiplayer or Zombies) and favorite weapons, perks, and maps.

Cannot really judge a game based on that... besides, you don't play Black Ops exclusively for zombie mode, do you?

If it does count that much though, try Saints' Row 2 or Left 4 Dead 2... both really fun arcade shooting games (COD is definitely arcade after having played ARMA) that include zombies
