I am really getting to my wits end with this game. I only play casual games. For my larger games, I generally spend 30-40 minutes on a turn, making my movements, purchases and attacking. I am fed up that after all of my movements are done and I am giving it a once over before I submit my movements the game RELOADS!! This happens way too often. I am tired of doing the same movements over and over and over because they get erased due to a game "reload". FIX THIS NOW!

If your using a wi fi, you should try make sure no one who uses it with you is going to load a page or more annoyingly a video. also if you have cordless phones from bt or a tv running near your router that could clog the frequency that your router is running on,just 2 things you could try on your end the difference is minute and wasn't enough to help me but if your playing casual games it "might" give you the extra little leeway to finish a turn, but other than that if its a casual game your not really strapped for time so just end turn and then save changes every few minutes
but yea i've had a hell of a lot of problems with connectivity to this game site myself i know the frustration.

30-40 minutes a move?? Jesus! What do you do so much that it takes you half an hour per move?? Normal/Quick games have 2-4 mins per move on average. Better practice on those so that you don't waste 30 minutes on a single turn. Join a training coalition and ask for help in making faster moves. Or make use of the Find-a-Mentor Program by Google Chrome. It's pinned to the General Discussions thread.

Ehm why is everybody attacking him on how long his turns last? He said CASUAL GAMES? Maybe he is in scenarios or worldgame and has alot of fronts to fight + probably alot of cities to wall and units to move?

And then you guys tell him to improve? Maybe you guys learn how to play casual games? Seems like you guys never even played one.

At topic: this dude is right, this game has pretty shitty servers.

Save your moves periodically

If u ever played Casual games, you would know that is the worst thing u can do, saving and coming back to do more moves is a garantee to have 1/3 of ur moves not going through
Lots of issues with casual games but no one really gives a damn since they're not competitive

Casual games (when working) are actually a good equalizer for low ranks.

There are of course many more glitches in casual but generally its not too bad.

Define "not too bad"..

For starters I quite dont understand why they dont implement a Turn 0 as it is required/asked for/mandatory for fair play. Today most of these games starts with host having 1 turn advance and no idea where other people will pick... This is in itself a complete killer imo

Second main issue is saving ur moves just doesnt work, you end up with walls not forming, units not moving etc...

So normal games a bit glitchy but playable, imo casual games aren't playable at all

Cheers

I dont have that many bad glitches in casual tbh is why its not too bad not to the point for me where it is unplayable anyway

You are right with the host advantage and this should be changed.

So you are saying he shouldn't save, get dc'd, and then be left with 0/3 of the moves he did? 1/3 is better than nothing.
