Calculate best unit combination for PD using tanks for optimal unit count.

Most certainly 100% tanks.

You didn't mention anything about what scenario and what funds, so I say sending 100x of the enemy's unit count with all tanks is best

 Witch-Doctor (Mod)
Ultimate pd stack combo
X = num of inf
T = num of tanks

X = 1.5 * (# enemy inf) + [0.5 * (# enemy militia)]
T = (# enemy inf) + 0.5*(# enemy militia)

Always round 0.5 up to nearest 1.

Example, enemy has 20 inf 10 militia.
Optimal attack is to send 35 inf and 25 tanks.

Ex 2: enemy has 20 militia
Send 10 inf 10 tanks.

except the others werent shitposting. You gave no parameters and the question is very vague. Wds answer is very general and rough as it doesnt factor in hp crit or the stats of the defending units. You didnt even state whether or not it was the defender or attacker thats pd. Or both. If youre gonna ask for something so big you could at least have the decency to write more than a sentence.

i was trying to find the cheapest combination of inf and tanks that have the highest net gain of inf vs neutrals with pd

but nvm i figured it out

that sentence doesnt even make sense. Are you trying to sound smart or are you deliberately trying to be incoherent.

Is what you are actually looking for the most cost efficient tank/inf config vs neutrals as pd? If thats the case use witches formula as it will work fine.

Are we defending or attacking? In a defensive game I would go 75-80% inf and 20-25% tanks and in an offensive I would go 80-90% tanks and 10-20% inf. You only need the inf after you hold a city. Now if we want to get real messy, we would use Optimization from Calculus I to find the least expensive combination or to find the highest attack for a certain amount of money. I'm sure if you really want to win, you would want to find the derivative of the function and its critical points in a minute and then use your other 2.75 minutes making a few moves.
Now if you're Clovis you would instinctively calculate those and the rest for infinite turns just by looking at the board.

>using witches formula on Italy as pd spain
>using witches formula on rnw as pd Ukraine.
Both are as pd on 8 neutrals, but it'll be slightly more efficient for ukr than spain.
