Hi all, I've been thinking about making a scenario! I still cant figure out how to make the map editor work, and my subscription runs out tomorrow I think, so I'll not be able to make the scenario quite yet, being broke and all! So here are some Ideas (maybe for someone who miraculously got the editor to work). Game 1: Macro Scale with only two capitals. Moscow and Berlin, with sub capitals at Minsk, Smolensk, Kiev, Dneproposkv, Stalingrad, etc. Germany subcapitals would be Prague, Bucharest, etc. Building units is ONLY allowed in capital cities of captured enemy territory. This will add an element of supply and logistics to the game, with the subcapitals representing railheads. Countries included Axis: Western Germany, Hungary, Austria, Poland, the Balkans, Northern Italy (not including rome), Finland. Soviet: All Soviet Countries. Berlin and Moscow should be city complexes (Four or five separate cities clumped together). Each at around 2000 pts income total for the complexes. Soviet Production. To account for expanding Ural Production, Add progressively cheaper unit production in Gorky and Moscow, or add a ural city at the eastern edge of the board. For example, Starting T-34 production at 180, and dropping the cost 5 points per turn starting in late 1942 by unlocking the cheaper t-34s (and guards, etc) according to a preset schedule. Allied Air Raids: To simulate allied air raids, make german AIR units slighly more expensive beginning in 1943. In 1944, all German Units become slightly more expensive, with air units (fighters) cost increasing by a higher percentage. Also mechanized german units in mid 1944 would become slower as fuel shortages take their toll. In 1945 all german units become slightly more expensive per turn, with AIR units cost being increased by 100%. The increasing air unit cost represents the drain from the front as fighers were transferred to air defense in germany. These are just a few ideas I thought of to adapt Atwar to a barbarossa scenario. But, alas, I couldn't get the editor to work (the map dissapeared after I saved it after a session). Maybe next tiem I can afford a sub I'll try to make it work. In the meantime, the ideas are there for someone who the editor does work for to use!

Full of flaws and there are already much better versions of the same thing out there.

Scenario cartography is harder than you think, from what you have proposed, I am not too fond. But i support anyone trying to make a scenario so
