Few things on one picture (forts/camps, naval bases, trucks, engineers, ...)

What do you think about being able to build forts/camps (on land or water) or something similiar. Like building temporarily bases while your army moves from america to asia. For example in order to build that you need engineers unit (which maybe would be new unit). That would have purpose to have better defense, maybe more of those would make a wall and the defence would be better. Engineers unit would maybe have like a hammer icon and they would improve defences of the city (or wall), more of those units would make better encampments where do you want to build it.



Those forts/camps and naval bases would have longer and stronger wall. They could be filled in with units like cities but you couldnt buy any units in them.
Trucks would be used for faster and longer transporting infantry units like militia, original infantry, marines.
Engineers would be used to build and upgrade forst/camps, naval bases, city defense (maybe) and so on.

Trade routes

Money will increase from trade routes from your capital city of Italy (for example) to other cities of Italy (if the cities are yours). You would get more money if you have more cities of that country (which still exist, you get more money, income if you have more cities of that country which is yours) but these trade routes could be stopped if someone sends for example 4 tanks to those trade lines, so you could get 50% or nothing from that city which trade line is not connected to capital.



So, from these trade lines or routes you could get nothing (if enemy break those line), and you could get extra income from neighbor ally (so could he).



Automatic wall creation

Some people struggles making wall, especially beginners. Maybe if you could click button after you click city. You could click button with wall icon, something like this:



You click button for example, "make wall" and than you choose how many units of what type you want to putt to form that wall. If you choose 3 infantry for example you form wall like we all use to defend our cities.

Observatory/Satellite

Okay, so this would be very expensive to build with engineers. You could build only few of these, it would have very big upkeep. Purpose of these would be if you build one anywhere (maybe only just on land, but on water its not a bad idea too). What this would do is to detect in certain range all stealth troops (marines, stealth airplanes, submarines) but not the whole time, only their last position from last turn.

Example, turn 14 marines are in ukraine and in the next turn enemy move them to belarus, you get potentional "?" mark on their last position in turn 14.






I have much more ideas but cant remember now everything. I will try to think about a lot of more new stuff. I did some examples how should it looks like. I would help in developing and designing those new stuff in general if its needed. Sorry for bad english, and i hope you like it

Normally I would say that your ideas can be created simply by creating your own map in the map editor, But hey, woah, there's no map editor to be used. So guess your just screwed like the rest of us. Since they can't get the map editor done, how can we think they have time or the desire to implement anything like this.

You could have Forts create walls that are only broken if the units defending them are destroyed.

unfortuneatly, i think thats true :r

i have much more ideas to think through and all of them would be very good "strategy game" ideas

yes, but i imagined it like, you can just know if they exist somewhere (in your satellite radius), you wont be able to attack marines because you cant locate them that turn. Only to find out are they nearby your satellite where you built him. It would be risk to choose to build that thing. For example if its 3k (just saying as an example), someone could buy a lot of units for that money, but it would give him a chance to be sure is there any marines sneaking near his satellite. Some of us during gameplay always try to be careful about hidden units (i think it would be like a feature nice detail, not like its so much needed)

If all these are added it will make default map an RP one.Maybe double its income too and add x2 cities too. 2/3 of these units seems op against regular units.Anyway it can be an option to be added to custom maps.Default one is fine as it is.Simple.

They are not weakened. Satellite is just saying you that enemy stealth units (maybe) are close. It wont tell exactly where they are. Im playing with stealth strategy too.

When you play everybody must think will enemy send stealth, so this will just give you some sort of getting ready for upcoming stealth attack.
I just said that like a idea. Idea have some good and bad sides.

What about other stuff, forts, naval bases, army truck to transport faster on land units like infantry?

Its not original game. I dont like playing RP because it is user made map (game), its not classic game. Players cant make any map to be nice and beautiful as it is normal one (if you know what i mean). These features will add diversity to the game. If i'm able to create these for custom map i would do it, but i wont buy premium to just play more interesting game. Why not to focus on strategy thinking and not just buying and sending units to be winner. Its strategy game and you could add unlimited simple features to make game greater than it is (nothing spectacular or demanding). Im not like i will die if this isnt implemented.

Its not original game. I dont like playing RP because it is user made map (game), its not classic game. how? Btw stealth attacks already can be spotted easy.
