Have you ever played a game where there are 1 or 2 people who sit and wait for the others to kill each other off and then when the last guy who did most of the fighting is broke and has exhausted all his defenses, these people come in and take his capital city and basically win the game without lifting a finger?

I don't know about you, but this seems to be the greatest non-strategy strategy ever. I personally call it the 'Vulture Strategy' or the 'Death & Taxes Strategy' because you are literally picking at the carcass of a dead opponent, and you collect on the winner's SP without having to exert any effort into it whatsoever.

In any case, I'd reckon these types would remain prevalent; laughing their way to the bank without so much as a slight bump on the wrist. Thanks for reading, time for a drink.

This is the difference between Caesar and Pompey

Caesar fought in Gaul with his men, and they became battle-hardened veterans after decades of military campaign. When Pompey disbanded his military career in 62 BC, Caesar was only getting started. Although Pompey certainly was experienced, as he fought in Spain and in the Eastern provinces, he had old experience while Caesar fought his Civil War almost immediately after conquering Gaul.

That's the difference between those who fight and those who remain "idle." The fighters will be experienced, and they will fight like veterans, while those who sit idle and wait for their opponents to weaken will die like Pompey

War is war and has no rules. Honor is retarded and is never respected. Ceasar's glory ended in betrayal. Always count on people to backstab and allyfag your ass. "Supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting" - Sun Tzu.

Make the game capture all cities so the vulture can't go and kill you with a single stack.
