Time limit for game bans

So I was banned from the WW1 senario for leaving 1 game around 6 years ago....

Can this be changed? It's a bit ridiculous to have a 6 year ban and it's not like I'm the first to leave a scenario as a low rank.

I appreciate what I did was wrong but shouldn't game bans have a time duration? like 3 months etc or maybe a % icon on the number of games left in the first 5 turns to indicate whether your a leaver or not. Sometimes you might have a genuine and unexpected reason to leave...

You could just ask a mod to unban
