1.removal of the voting system Most people walk into a game, see the options, and are prepared to see the game through until the end whenever that may be and very rarely will you see a change being made before say 20 turns, and before it is down to 5 or less players. The problem i have with the voting system is that it is mainly used by troll groups or people in a big group alliance against a minority alliance or people alone, the bigger group will change the options to suit what will help them out the most in the game, e.g take the turns down to one min and add change to 99 joining to have friends join and such. so simply, i'm asking that once the host has made the options and the game has started, the options cannot be changed by anyone, including the host. 2. change the turn duration in quick games to: 1 1:30 2 2:30 3 3:30 4 4:30 5:00 I very very rarely see anyone play a game over 5 mins turns because it takes so long to complete 50 turns, and the point of adding in 30sec increments is because 30sec over 50 turns is 25mins gameplay, and people who normally play 3mins or 4mins can go down by 30secs to save a long time in game. I personally think 3:30 is perfect for competitive gaming on a world scale, and 2:30 should be enough for Europe. 3.More than one time setting quick games Like many people, I do my first 9(second reinforcement) or so turns very quickly, around 2 mins, so well under the average time most people play, 3 or 4 mins, and it is quite annoying having to wait for people to either finish or remember to hit end turn. So the way it would work is like this. in game options there would be a check box for increments, this would increase the time of the game by 30 secs on a reinforcement stage of your choice up until the time you have chosen. Eg. in turn duration I would choose 2mins, then tick increments, and choose which reinforcement stage I want to start the increment, 1 being week 5, 2 being week 9, etc. then I choose the time i want it to end at, so if I choose reinforce stage 1, and then 3mins, it would increase by 30 secs at week 5 and week 9 and end at 3:00. important: no decreasing times, and only able to start at reinforcement stage 4 and below. 4.New victory option: capture selected countrie(s) Notice the (s), yes i am suggesting having a capture more than one capital, for this you can choose upto 4 countries a player has to hold to win the game For this we will need capture capture objectives in game, either add an option to capture any of the countries in game, or add some of these i suggest: usa: great lakes usa: pacific columbia brazil southeast' south africa nigeria russia central france spain turkey iran pakistan china north australia: nsw

The good majority (see: basically all) of changes I ever see made are made in the first 5 turns to change turn time or latejoin time. After that I almost never see the settings get screwed with, maybe your rank intimidates people more than mine does though ^_^ Other than that, support. Though I'm not sure I understand 3, I think I know what you're getting at.

1. just to add, the original "host can change anything" was changed because the host could troll too easily, trolling is still possible if there are large groups of player with that in mind. Also i can't see why anyone would want to change the options in a game, it is the host's game, he chooses the options, if you don't like it.. leave. 4. and how does this change anything? every victory condition is abusable by late joiners, i'm just looking for a way to make it more playable.
