Nice data!
Some comments:
  • Homero: high SP/turns because of casual games.
  • FSM: high SP/turns because of players invited (456.533 SP reward).
  • Data has to be cleared from distortions, since it accounts SP/turns played. There are players that abandon games more often than others, so they will get higher SP/turns (they abandon when things are not going well).
  • Best criteria is still "Players Aggressiveness" (PvP battles/turns played), combined with the "games accounted" (wins+lost).
  • Pitty that CD has got lazy on his player stats: https://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=9508

Unfortunately I cannot conclude other forms of sp gain other than games because it is too complicated.
However the turns played in abandoned games still count in the total turns played.

Perfectly understandable; it's already a lot of work you have made to reach this set of information.
Great work!

Eh, I think you understood some points very wrong there, Mr. Flaneur, but think whatever you want...

Please do not hesitate in correcting my misunderstanding. It's all about learning. Isn't it?

- send enough ally requests on first turn, so that you won't get outnumbered (first turn ally reqs are often very important)

Are you mad? This is the basis for ally-fuggery!
Escrito por Klabauter, 05.12.2013 at 12:34

- learn to properly wall your cities and stuff (most noobs don't do this although it's very effective for your defence)

Yes!
Escrito por Klabauter, 05.12.2013 at 12:34

- don't forget to use transports to be faster than your enemies (many noobs don't use them too or only rarely)

Not necessarily transports... depends on funds and other expansion methods... walking! Rule should be: expand fast but consistently.
Escrito por Klabauter, 05.12.2013 at 12:34

- always have an eye on the SP of the players, the game duration and the diplomacy (else it easily can happen that you attack the wrong people)

Not necessarily SP, but troops and countries (cities) hold! High SP can be due to fast but not consolidated expansion.
Escrito por Klabauter, 05.12.2013 at 12:34

- don't be too passive and don't ally practically everyone or else you easily can lose by SP (attacking other players brings more SP than attacking neutral units/cities)

Yes. But this one contradicts your first point!
Escrito por Klabauter, 05.12.2013 at 12:34

- use Perfect Defence as a strategy and spam a lot of infantry with it (it's a very good alround strategy and easy to use for beginners)

Basically yes. But for 50k Worldgames (common games among low ranks) there are better strategies (specially for fast expansion). But basically yes!

Cause going rogue as UN is not against any AW rules... except the shitty rules made exclusively for these shitty scenarios.
UN games may be fun... but are skill-killers and ranking-up highways.

Updated removed some stuff that I'll be adding into the detailed tutorial. Any suggestions for GIF guides you can tell me.

Would be nice to have a gif on: how to make a lake (cut-out area within a country)?
Btw, great gifs!
